“I didn’t want to change the Beret.
I wanted to reveal what was already within it,
its balance, its purity, its quiet strength.
At every stage, I searched for the same truth,
a harmony between elegance, intelligence, and honesty.
For me, these are not different words but one and the same pursuit,
the essence of beauty that endures through time.

A Jewel Born From Love.
The Beret was created in 1985 by a Parisian designer at Maison Tabbah who was expecting her first child. She wished to craft a jewel for the son she carried, something he wold one day receive, something that would protect him, accompany him, and remind him of her love.
She imagined a soft, rounded form, as gentle as an embrace. At its heart, she imagined a sapphire cabochon, symbolic of serenity, protection, and the calm she wished for his future.
Its curved surface echoed the tender silhouette of motherhood.
On the crown, in plain sight, she engraved three words meant only for him: I LOVE YOU.
A jewel born from a mother’s heart and carried forward as a token of love for the generations to come. Maison Tabbah embraced it because it felt genuine.
