Nagib Tabbah is the chief designer and CEO of House of Tabbah, married to Antonia Di Guevara Fabbri and has 2 daughters Annalisa and Isabella.
Born on September 29, 1967 in Beirut, Lebanon, Nagib Tabbah grew up in a family dedicated to the art of jewelry. His early visits to the family atelier captured his attention, eventually growing into a fascination, as he began to observe and admire how solid gold could be melted and crafted into a masterpiece.
At the age of 7, he moved to Monaco with his family, where he found himself exposed to the elegant lifestyle associated with the city. There he grew up taking in the savoir-faire that the Tabbah family has been passing on from generation to generation. Following this, he moved to New York to study Gemology at the Gemological Institute of America, graduating in 1991.
His working career began in Freiburg, Switzerland in the field of luxury distribution. Soon after, he moved to Geneva to work in the Tabbah headquarters, where he fully entered the true and sparkling world of jewelry.
His return to Beirut in 1997 corresponds with the rebirth of the city, in its days of blossoming. It is at this point that he realized the richness of his experiences, bringing together the luxury and finesse of the West and the rich culture of the Orient, creating a refined opulence, which has become synonymous with the Tabbah name.
In 1998, he launched “Designer Line by Tabbah”, a new and unexpected approach to jewelry that apprehends the desires of the next generation in an ever changing world.
Renowned for his one-off privately commissioned pieces, Nagib designed and crafted Infinite Cascade, the necklace Princess Charlene of Monaco wore during the ceremonies of her weekend wedding to Prince Albert of Monaco in July 2011.
His laser focused attention to details and inventiveness earned him multiple international patents and design registrations.
